The Third Annual Temple Arts Festival was held in Nashville, April 14-15, 2007. We wish to thank everyone who participated in the very successful juried exhibition and sale--the crowds of enthusiastic shoppers, undaunted by less-than-perfect weather, the talented artists who exhibited their exquisite creations, and the dedicated volunteers who engineered this remarkable event.
The 2007 Temple Arts Festival featured the works of nearly 50 hand-selected, widely-acclaimed professional artists showing approximately 500 pieces in glass, ceramics, painting, sculpture, metal, drawing, photography and jewelry. The art was judged by Kevin Grogan, director of the Morris Museum of Art in Augusta, Georgia, and we congratulate winners Bennett Bean, Best of Show; Carole Perry, First in Sculpture/Glass; and Reni Gower, First in Two-Dimensional Art.
Make plans to join us for the Fourth Annual Temple Arts Festival, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, April 5-6, 2008, in Nashville, Tennessee. We will update this site with additional information as the date approaches. If you are an artist interested in participating in the 2008 show: please click here. If you are interested in volunteering, please call Lisa Small, 615-356-2735.
A percentage of the proceeds benefits The Temple, Congregation Ohabai Sholom, Nashville, Tennessee's oldest and largest Jewish congregation.
