W.E.L.L.

The Temple’s W.E.L.L. program (Women Engaged in Living and Learning) is part of The Temple’s Adult Education series. It involves women of all ages, backgrounds and interests. Meeting monthly, the women celebrate, socialize, learn, eat, laugh and form friendships.

The topics vary from meeting to meeting. Examples of learning include: “Women Witches and Harlots: Women and Jewish Texts,” “Motherhood and Martyrdom,” a Tu B’shvat Seder, and “The Agunah (the woman who cannot be divorced).” The programs are both lay and clergy le, and include a variety of media and activities. The women of W.E.L.L. also participate in the Temple’s biannual Women’s Retreat.
